The Sailor Shikiori Irori is a fountain pen ink from the Shikiori range, in bright, cheerful red verging on coral, warm and orange-leaning. Irori is the traditional sunken hearth, a name that suits the colour.
On good paper a gold sheen lifts off the page. Sailor produces the Shikiori inks in Japan, where it earned its reputation for nibs. The ink is water based and flows smoothly from most fountain pens.
Each 20 ml bottle comes in a faceted glass jar. Shikiori offers more than twenty colours.
- Colour: bright, cheerful red verging on coral, warm and orange-leaning.
- Gold sheen on good paper.
