The Sailor Shikiori Harahara is a fountain pen ink from the Shikiori range, in smoky mauve, a soft warm violet. Harahara is the sound of softly falling drizzle, the ink takes its name from it.
It has no sheen, but leaves a green edge where it meets water. The Shikiori range is made in Japan by Sailor, a name built mostly on its nibs. The ink is water based and flows smoothly from most fountain pens.
The ink comes in a 20 ml faceted glass jar. The Shikiori collection counts more than twenty colours.
- Colour: smoky mauve, a soft warm violet.
- No sheen, but a water-reactive green edge.
- 20 ml glass bottle.
- Water based, for fountain pens.
- Part of the Shikiori range.
