The Blackwing Pearl Blue is the third colorway in the Pearl line, alongside the white and pink versions. The graphite is the same across all three: balanced, comparable to 2B, softer than the 602 and firmer than the Matte. It is the Pearl that calligraphers and illustrators tend to reach for.
What sets this version apart is the pearlescent blue body with a silver imprint and silver square ferrule with a denim blue eraser. The eraser is a deeper, more muted blue than the bright blue found on the Pearl Pink, a quieter choice that sits well with the body.
Each set contains 12 pencils and comes in a gift box that doubles as a pencil cup once opened.
- Graphite: balanced, comparable to 2B, softer than the 602 and firmer than the Matte
