The Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 12 Coloured Pencils holds 12 colours from the Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 range, made in the company's own workshops in Geneva.
Twelve colours, identical in quality to the large sets. Enough to find out what the range does before going further.
The wax based lead is packed with pigment: colour goes down creamy and covers heavily, even on dark paper. Of the hundred colours in the range, 81 reach the top lightfastness class LFI under the ASTM D-12901 standard. Under museum conditions your work keeps its colour for a century.
