The Esterbrook BUNGUBOX Kachofugetsu Flower is a limited edition collaboration between Esterbrook and BUNGUBOX, a Japanese stationery boutique with its own distinctive design approach. Inspired by the Someiyoshino cherry blossom, the pen has a semi-translucent crackled pink acrylic body with gold plated trim. Because the material is see-through, the printed converter is visible right through the barrel.
The gold plated nib is engraved with the Japanese character for "flower", designed specifically for this release. The body sits well in the hand and the acrylic feels solid without being heavy. The cap posts on the back of the barrel for extra balance while writing. This is the first release in the four-part Kachofugetsu series, built around the Japanese concept for "Flower, Bird, Wind, Moon". Flower and Bird are already complete; Wind and Moon are still to come.
The pen comes with a specially printed cherry blossom converter. It also works with standard international ink cartridges. Available in extra fine, fine, medium, and broad.
