A dreamy collaboration between two brands united by craftsmanship, creativity, and a love of writing. This Estie brings the distinctive design sensibility of BUNGUBOX, the beloved Japanese stationery boutique from Hamamatsu, together with the American heritage of Esterbrook. The Kingfisher Edition is a tribute to the kingfisher, known for its jewel-like feathers and graceful flight along riversides.
The resin body, handcrafted in the US from DiamondCast resin, a unique material infused with real diamond dust, combines deep teal, warm copper, and soft black in an interplay of colors that mirrors the iridescent elegance of the kingfisher in motion. No two pens are ever exactly alike. A gold-plated converter featuring a bird motif adds a special surprise from within: even the act of filling with ink becomes a moment to savour. This is the second collaboration in the Kachofugetsu series, in Japanese a timeless expression for flower, bird, wind, and moon, designed in partnership with Kaoru Yamagishi, founder of BUNGUBOX.
The Estie is a perfectly balanced pen crafted from turned DiamondCast acrylic with a high-polished finish in a stunning blend of colors.

- Gold-plated trim and engraved nib created exclusively for this collaboration
