The Kaweco Supra Brass Fountain Pen is the big brother of the Liliput: Kaweco designed it back in 1920, with the same simple round shape. The body is lead-free brass, which develops its own patina over time.
At 51.7 grams this is a heavy pen. The weight presses the nib lightly onto the paper on its own, so you can write for a long time with little effort. The removable extension piece lets you adjust length and weight to your hand.
You choose the nib, from extra fine (EF) to extra broad (BB); for beginners Kaweco recommends medium (M). The nib is made in Germany and unscrews easily if you want to change it later. The pen writes with Kaweco ink cartridges. A clip is available separately.
