The Sailor Shikiori Potsupotsu is a fountain pen ink from the Shikiori range, in cool grayish blue-purple (indigo-violet) with a strong blue bias. Potsupotsu is the sound of the first scattered raindrops, and the ink carries that name.
It has no sheen, but shows clear shading from light to dark. Sailor makes this ink in Japan, the same maker behind its well-regarded nibs. The ink is water based and flows smoothly from most fountain pens.
The bottle holds 20 ml in a faceted glass jar. Shikiori runs to more than twenty colours.
- Colour: cool grayish blue-purple (indigo-violet) with a strong blue bias.
- No sheen, but clear shading.
- 20 ml glass bottle.
- Water based, for fountain pens.
- Part of the Shikiori range.
