Tom Hessin Charles 1870 Gherkin Sky Blue Fountain Pen

The Tom Hessin Charles 1870 Gherkin Sky Blue fountain pen is inspired by The Gherkin, the London skyscraper with its façade of diamond-shaped glass panels. The metal barrel is lacquered in sky blue and covered along its full length with a fine relief of small diamonds, a nod to that façade and to Tom Hessin's diamond motif.

The metal barrel gives the pen a weightier feel in the hand, and it is well balanced. The chrome clip, made in Britain, carries Tom Hessin's five diamonds; the bird emblem sits on top of the cap, and a band around the cap bears the Tom Hessin name. The chrome-finish steel JoWo nib with an iridium tip writes smoothly and comes in Fine, Medium or Broad.

Each Gherkin comes in a luxury Tom Hessin gift box, together with a pen card, converter and black ink cartridge, backed by a 2-year mechanical warranty.
