Tom Hessin Magnetic Series Carbon Steel Fountain Pen

The Tom Hessin Carbon Steel fountain pen from the Magnetic Series has a matte black lacquer barrel with matching matte black trim and a guilloché diamond pattern, inspired by a historic stamp from the Hessin archives. The series looks back to the Magnetic Works in Birmingham, where nibs were once magnetised: at the Bullring market, hawkers floated them in water to show how they pointed north.

The cap closes with a satisfying magnetic mechanism, a nod to the original Magnetic Series produced by T. Hessin & Co in Birmingham during the 1800s. The black clip carries five engraved diamonds, each representing a generation of Hessin craftsmanship. The Tom Hessin double-headed bird sits on top of the cap as the brand's mark of quality. The black PVD JoWo x Tom Hessin nib delivers a smooth and reliable writing experience.

Each Carbon Steel fountain pen is presented in a stylish Tom Hessin gift box, complete with soft touch platform, signature blue ribbon, pen card, ink cartridge and converter, and comes with a 2-year mechanical warranty.
