The Tom Hessin Rebel Jewellers Rouge ballpoint pen has a tapered lacquer barrel with gunmetal trim. Jewellers Rouge refers to Tom Hessin's beginnings in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter: rouge is the compound once used there to polish fine metals.
The ballpoint opens and closes with a quarter twist. To refill, twist the top of the barrel anticlockwise. A band with the Tom Hessin logo sits in the middle. The gunmetal clip carries five diamond-shaped details, one for each generation of Hessin penmakers.
Each Rebel ballpoint comes in a Tom Hessin gift box with a pen card and black ballpoint refill, backed by a 2-year mechanical warranty.
