The Tom Hessin Rebel Jewellers Rouge fountain pen has a tapered lacquer barrel with gunmetal trim. Jewellers Rouge refers to Tom Hessin's beginnings in Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter: rouge is the compound once used there to polish fine metals.
The PVD-coated JoWo nib lays down ink smoothly; choose Fine or Medium. The cap clicks shut and carries a band with the Tom Hessin logo. The gunmetal clip carries five diamond-shaped details, one for each generation of Hessin penmakers.
Each Rebel fountain pen comes in a Tom Hessin gift box with a pen card, ink cartridge and converter, backed by a 2-year mechanical warranty.
