The Blackwing Natural is the only model in the core line without a colored lacquer finish. The body is exposed Incense-cedar with just a subtle clear matte coating, leaving the wood grain visible. It stands apart from the other Blackwing pencils without needing to try.
The graphite is extra firm, the hardest and lightest of the four Blackwing cores, comparable to HB. It holds a point well and suits long writing sessions and detailed line work. The gold square ferrule and grey eraser complement the warm, natural tone of the cedar body.
Each set contains 12 pencils and comes in a gift box that doubles as a pencil cup once opened.
- Graphite: extra firm, comparable to HB — the firmest graphite in the Blackwing core line
- Finish: exposed Incense-cedar with clear matte coating
- Gold square Blackwing ferrule with grey eraser
- Set of 12, box doubles as a pencil cup
