The Blackwing Pearl sits between the 602 and the Matte in terms of graphite. Softer than the 602, firmer than the Matte. That balance makes it the most versatile of the four core Blackwing models — calligraphers and illustrators reach for it, but so do writers who want something that works equally well for writing and sketching.
The pearlescent white body has a gold imprint and gold square ferrule with a white eraser. Clean, simple, and easy to recognize when the pencil cup is full.
Each set contains 12 pencils and comes in a gift box that doubles as a pencil cup once opened.
- Graphite: balanced, comparable to 2B, softer than the 602 and firmer than the Matte
- Finish: pearlescent white
- Gold square Blackwing ferrule with white eraser
- Set of 12, box doubles as a pencil cup
