The Pilot Iroshizuku Fuyu-Gaki is a warm orange fountain pen ink. Fuyu-Gaki means winter persimmon in Japanese, after the bright orange of ripe persimmons in winter. It belongs to the Iroshizuku line, which Pilot launched in 2007 and which draws its colours from nature in Japan.
On paper Fuyu-Gaki is a lively, warm orange that stands out on the page. It writes smoothly and lays down a steady amount of ink.
This 15 ml bottle is the handy, compact size from the Iroshizuku range, ideal for trying out a colour or taking with you. Iroshizuku has 24 colours, each with its own Japanese name.
