The Pilot Iroshizuku Sui-Gyoku is a vivid turquoise fountain pen ink. Sui-Gyoku means jade or emerald in Japanese, after the green-blue colour of the gemstone. It belongs to the Iroshizuku line, which Pilot launched in 2007 and which draws its colours from nature in Japan.
On paper Sui-Gyoku is a green-blue turquoise that shifts from bright to a deeper sea green. It writes smoothly and lays down a steady amount of ink.
Each 50 ml bottle is blown by mouth, so no two bottles are quite the same. The angled, notched base helps your pen reach the last drop. Iroshizuku has 24 colours, each with its own Japanese name, and the bottle looks good on any desk.
- Vivid turquoise ink
- Mouth-blown glass design bottle of 50 ml
- From Pilot's Iroshizuku range, 24 colours drawn from nature
