The Platinum #3776 Century Kaga Maki-e Sakura is a fountain pen that beautifully combines Japanese artistry with advanced writing technology. Named after the height of Mount Fuji, the #3776 Century has long been Platinum’s flagship model. It features the patented Slip & Seal Mechanism, designed to prevent ink from drying out, ensuring a smooth ink flow even after years of non-use. This innovation makes it one of the most reliable fountain pens for both daily writers and collectors alike.
The Kaga Maki-e Sakura edition showcases the Hira Maki-e technique, where delicate cherry blossom motifs are hand-painted and enhanced with precious metal powders. This decorative finish captures the fleeting beauty of spring in Japan, making the pen both a writing tool and a piece of art. With a 14K gold nib (available in F, M, and B), a durable AS resin body, and an elegant, lightweight design, the Platinum #3776 Century Kaga Maki-e Sakura offers an exceptional writing experience steeped in tradition and innovation.
