The Sailor Shikiori Shigure is a fountain pen ink from the Shikiori range, in deep bluish purple, nearly black at its darkest. Shigure is the late autumn and winter rain, a name that suits the colour.
Whether you see sheen depends on your pen and paper; smooth paper brings it out best. The ink comes from Sailor in Japan, a maker known first for its nibs. The ink is water based and flows smoothly from most fountain pens.
Each 20 ml bottle comes in a faceted glass jar. Shikiori offers more than twenty colours.
- Colour: deep bluish purple, nearly black at its darkest.
- Variable sheen, depends on pen and paper.
- 20 ml glass bottle.
- Water based, for fountain pens.
- Part of the Shikiori range.
