The Sailor Shikiori Shimoyo is a fountain pen ink from the Shikiori range, in dark blue-black, cool and deep. Shimoyo means a frosty night, and the ink carries that name.
In large areas on smooth paper a light copper sheen appears on top. Sailor makes this ink in Japan, the same maker behind its well-regarded nibs. The ink is water based and flows smoothly from most fountain pens.
The bottle holds 20 ml in a faceted glass jar. Shikiori runs to more than twenty colours.
- Colour: dark blue-black, cool and deep.
- Light copper sheen, only in large areas on smooth paper.
- 20 ml glass bottle.
- Water based, for fountain pens.
- Part of the Shikiori range.
