Since 2003 the StarWalker has been Montblanc's most forward-looking pen line, inspired by space travel and the urge to look beyond the horizon. The StarWalker Extreme takes that idea further and brings in the graphic Extreme pattern, which has its roots in the 1920s. Back then, testing a Montblanc nib left diagonal stripes on the material, an image that designer Grete Gross later shaped into the Bauhaus-influenced motif that also runs across the Extreme leather goods.
At Penworld you will find the complete StarWalker Extreme range in three versions. The Precious Resin has a cap and barrel of black precious resin with the Extreme pattern, the Doué combines a resin barrel with a ruthenium coated metal cap, and the Metal is made entirely of metal with a glossy black PVD coating and a laser-engraved pattern. Each version comes as a fountain pen, ballpoint and fineliner, always with ruthenium coated accents and the recognisable orange dome beneath a clear top.
For the ballpoints we stock the matching Montblanc ballpoint refills in several colours and line widths. The fountain pens come with a Montblanc converter and also take Montblanc ink cartridges, while the fineliners write with Montblanc fineliner refills or, for a wetter line, with rollerball refills.
